Anurag Sangahi and Anish Suri Win Big Titles on IOPC Day 1

The much awaited IOPC on Spartan Poker is back! Packed with an incredible 25 Crores worth of guarantees in 113 events, the IOPC lives up to its name and attracts the best in the country. The winner of the main event, The Crown, will receive, not a medal, but an actual physical Crown!

The players get a chance to fight for the huge Leaderboard worth 1 Crore as well throughout the entirety of the event. During the two weeks of IOPC 2020, a total of 113 events are scheduled with buy-ins ranging from ₹550 to ₹1.10 Lakhs!

The ₹6 Lakhs GTD IOPC#2 was taken down by ‘waghoneblood$’ who won ₹1.64 lakhs after a heads-up chop with Anuj ‘Anuj16101’ Laddhad (2nd for ₹1.59 Lakhs).

IOPC #3 5L GTD Monster Stack

The 5L GTD IOPC #3 Monster Stack received a total of 1,162 entries. It was none other than online reg Siddharth ‘schemer77’ Karia who shipped the event for a payout of ₹1.76 lakhs after a heads-up deal with ‘FunkeyFox’ who earned a payout of ₹1.07 lakhs. 

IOPC #5 35L GTD Ultron

The biggest tournament of Day 1 was the 35L GTD Ultron. The  ₹4,400 buy-in event received a total of 1,048 entries, crushing the guarantee and creating a mouth-watering prize pool of ₹41.92 Lakhs with 103 places paid and a minimum cash of ₹11,318. Anurag ‘sangahi’ Sangahi shipped the event and earned himself a payout of ₹7,93,964 after beating ‘GODSENT’ in the final heads-up who earned ₹4,85,852 for the second place.

The ₹3,300 buy-in event received a total of 715 entries and created a prize pool of ₹21,45,000. With a total of 63 places paid and a min. cash of ₹9,330, the tournament was won by Anish ‘anishsuri’ Suri for a payout of ₹3,00,933 after making a three-way deal with Zarvan ‘BolAuntyAuKya’ Tumboli (2nd for ₹2.90 Lakhs) and ‘Armitrage’ (3rd for ₹2.72 Lakhs).

IOPC #7 8L GTD Monster Stack

The ₹8 Lakhs GTD IOPC#7 Monster Stack found a winner in the anonymous reg ‘McFly’, who pocketed ₹2.35 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with ‘B@NKSY’ who earned a payout of ₹2.16 Lakhs for his second place finish.  

The first day of the IOPC received incredible attraction and you could see all the regs and professionals taking their seats to fight for the massive guarantees on offer.
