Friday night kicked off the weekend in style. We saw some of the biggest names in the industry run deep in major tournaments last night. Let’s take a look at the biggest winners from last night!
Friday’s flagship tournament on Adda52 was the 3L GTD The Hexagram. The tournament received a total of 151 entries. Amit ‘amit030’ Kumar shipped the event last night earning himself a payout of ₹85,315. Other than The Hexagram, Adda52 was back with the Full House 1CR. GTD event with the first flight taking place last yesterday.
Full House 1CR. GTD Day 1A received a total 333 entries. Only 39 players could make Day 2 with Harshit ‘Hashstack’ Chopra taking the chip lead with a stack of 368,241 into Day 2. Not far behind Chopra is Rishi ‘Ronaldo94’ Mundhra (303,443) with ‘mannankraveshia’ (272,732) rounding out the top three stacks on Day 1A.
Neel ‘neeljoshi23’ Joshi (233,162), Sandeep ‘effuno’ Varma Rs (153,463), Gaurav ‘gauravarod’ Sood (141,522) and Kunal ‘KunalPatni‘ Patni (137,265) are the other notable top stacks from the flight.
The 10L GTD The Ridge is the flagship Friday major tournament on PokerBaazi. The tournament received a total of 349 entries, generating a prize pool of ₹10.47 Lakhs, with a very tough field filled with some of the biggest names in the Indian poker community as PokerBaazi major tournaments normally do. It was none other than Aditya ‘gangajal’ Sushant, who shipped the event for a payout of ₹2.2 Lakhs after beating Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh in the final heads up battle who finished runner-up for ₹1.54 Lakhs. Kanchan ‘kanchansharma’ Sharma finished in third place and earned a payout of ₹98,942.
The 15L GTD INSCOOP Uppercut was the main attraction yesterday on PokerStars India. The tournament received a total of 382 entries generating a prize pool of ₹15.28 Lakhs. Dhinesh ‘you3betI4bet’ Kumar shipped the event, taking down a massive payout of ₹2.60 Lakhs. One of the best players in the country, Devang ‘trappyfish93’ Yadav finished runner-up and earned himself a payout of ₹1.61 Lakhs!
The 10L GTD TGIF was the major tournament on Spartan Poker yesterday. The tournament received a total of 942 entries. Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh continued his insane streak and shipped yet another event after beating Nehal ‘PantherPaw’ Agarwal in the final heads-up, who finished runner-up, earning him a payout of ₹2.70 Lakhs! ‘PantherPaw’ received ₹1.68 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.
