Saurabh and Gautam Win Big on Day 2 of PokerBaazi Premier League

The PokerBaazi Premier League started off on the 28th of February with a bang! The PPL is a marquee poker series featuring massive guarantees and prizes. The Day 1 of PPL received an overwhelming 2189 entries across all 6 tournaments held on the day. Let’s take a look how the tournaments played out on Day 2.

PPL Monsoon Edition features the largest ever prize-pool for a 10 day online series with guarantees worth INR 7.3 Crore+ across 58 tournaments. Combined with an additional 15 Lakh in leaderboard prizes, PPL Monsoon Edition promises to deliver exciting action and fierce competition throughout the event.

Results of Day 2 of PPL:

 PPL #7 DST 3 LAC GTD

The first out of the 7 tournaments was the PPL #7 DST 3 Lac GTD with a buy-in of 1000+100. ‘urindangerrr’ shipped the first tournament of Day 2 of the PPL Monsoon Edition for a payout of INR 66,270 with Ankit ‘Anteman’ Waghmare  finishing in second place, receiving a payout of INR 46,500.

PPL #8 Flight 1A 50 LAC GTD The Endeavour (RE)

The second event of the day, PPL #8 Flight 1A 50 Lac GTD The Endeavour saw a field of 319 entries (including reentries and rebuys) for a buy-in of 3500+350. With 40 survivors making it to Day 2, Flight1A saw pablo_escobar’ finishing with the chip lead with a stack of 3.7L. Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood finished second with a stack of 3.06L in chips. PPL #9 6-Max SuperStack 5 LAC GTD (5RE)

The PPL #9 6-Max SuperStack 5 LAC GTD (5RE) was played out between 343 entries (including reentries and rebuys) with a buy-in of 1500+150 that made the total prize pool of 5,15,000. ‘moto007’ was the big winner of INR 1,08,045, who overcame Aniket ‘Anteman’ Waghmare in the final heads-up. He earned himself second place for a total of INR 75,632.

PPL #10 The Crest 10 LAC GTD (RE)

The 10 LAC GTD The Crest event was one of the biggest guarantees on offer for Day 2 of the PPL and received a total of 449 entries (including reentries and rebuys). Saurabh ‘twister’ Rohilla shipped the massive tournament for INR 2,25,623 and Philip ‘Philister’ Jude secured the runner-up spot for INR 1,58,160.

PPL #11 6-Max 2 LAC GTD Hold’em Boost (RE)

The 1000+100 buy-in event received the entry of 242 players (including reentries and rebuys) to make a combined prize pool of 2,42,000. Rahul ‘GhatakTheGreat’ Sanger won the 6-Max 2 LAC GTD event for a payout of INR 56,942 with  ‘deception’ finishing in second place for INR 39,954.

PPL #12 Flight 1B  50 LAC GTD The Endeavour (RE)

The penultimate event of the day, PPL #12 Flight 1B 50 Lac GTD The Endeavour saw a field of 338 entries (including reentries and rebuys) for a buy-in of 3500+350. With 42 survivors making it to Day 2, Flight1B saw ‘prashant32’ finishing with the chip lead with a stack of 2.95L. Devang ‘laila’ Yadav finished second with a stack of 2.85L in chips. PPL #13 6-Max MegaStack 10 LAC GTD (RE)

The 6-Max 10 LAC GTD MegaStack event was one of the biggest guarantees on offer for Day 2 of the PPL as well as the final tournament of the night and received a total of 241 entries (including reentries and rebuys). Gautam ‘M8a7’ Rohilla shipped the massive tournament for INR 2,35,300 and ‘kidpoker0109’ secured the runner-up spot for INR 1,65,100.
