Wednesday Majors Round-Up

Wednesday night saw some new names as well as some of those who have been running hot, pop up right at the top of the scoreboards. Let’s take a look at the biggest winners from last night!


Wednesday’s biggest event on Adda52 was the 10L GTD Maverick. The tournament received a total of 625 entries, crushing the guarantee and generating a prize pool of ₹14.21 Lakhs!

Naresh Veeravalli shipped the event last night earning himself a payout of ₹2.68 Lakhs! He beat Gagandeep ‘gaganhyd’ Malik who finished runner-up for a payout of ₹2.60 Lakhs!


The 10L GTD The Pride is the flagship Wednesday major tournament on PokerBaazi. The tournament received a total of 374 entries, generating a prize pool of ₹11.22 Lakhs,  which included some of the biggest names in the Indian poker community as PokerBaazi major tournaments normally do. It was an online grinder Rahul ‘viran’ Kumar , who shipped the event for a payout of ₹2.36 Lakhs after beating ‘akj10q’ in the final heads up battle who finished runner-up for ₹1.65 Lakhs.

PokerStars India:

The 15L GTD INSCOOP Night On Stars was the main attraction yesterday on PokerStars India. The tournament received a total of 418 entries. A total of 71 places were paid. Rohit ‘PillowFight22’ Mishra shipped the event, adding another notable title to his resume. He won himself a payout of ₹2.70 Lakhs by beating Amar ‘AceConsultant’ Mehta who finished runner-up for ₹1.97 Lakhs!

Spartan Poker:

The 35L GTD Destiny was the major tournament on Spartan Poker yesterday. The tournament received a total of 673 entries. 63 places were paid with a min. Cash of ₹14,000. It took a long and hard 8hour grind for ‘Donkashtra to ship the event after beating Deepak Bothra in the final heads-up!
